Mold Affects Part-Time Residence

This lakeside condominium like many others in this complex is a part time residence. While summer time occupancy may be more frequent, off season occupancy is less seldom. This unit was a victim of faulty plumbing from the unit above.

Water leaked into this bottom floor unit for an undetermined amount of time causing not only substantial water damage but mold growth. Mold had affected most all porous materials in the unit and unit had to be stripped of the contaminated materials. After demolition the remaining structural materials were re-mediated to industry standards and sealed. After air purification construction services began to restore the property.
