Toilet Overflow in Carl Junction, MO
A toilet overflow caused a bit of damage in a Carl Junction home. It affected the master bathroom, bathroom closet, master bedroom and master closet. It resulted in the carpet and vinyl flooring being removed in order to make sure the subfloor was able to dry correctly. Not only did it affect the flooring, but it also drained down in to the air duct vent and in to the trunk line. The technicians drilled holes in the trunk line to get the excess water out to begin the drying process. Due to the high level of humidity and there being water in the duct system, they placed a larger sized dehumidifier to make sure things were drying as they should in order to avoid mold growth.
