Water Damage in County Courthouse
When the custodian of a local county courthouse arrived on a Sunday morning to straighten up a few things he found quite a surprise. A water pipe had busted at some point during the weekend on the second level of the courthouse. The second level suffered moderate damage but the first level was completely inundated.
Beside the large amount of square footage the project proved to be challenging in other ways. Security was an issue. Sensitive information was stored in many of the departments occupying the first level. Some even required court officials to oversee the moving of file cabinets to mitigate.
The second issue was time. But it always is in a commercial setting. With many different county departments working out of this space, many citizens would be unable to conduct everyday business at the courthouse. A fast response and dedicated effort to work late into the night made sure the offices were open back up as soon as possible.
